Description
Atomic Rooster - In Hearing Of...
(Pegasus PEG 1 UK LP 1971)
This is a UK original LP pressing. It has a heavyweight matt gatefold sleeve. It comes with its original company plain paper inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has textured "Pegasus" labels. The record has 1st press A-1U/ B-1U matrix stampers. A great early 1970's UK Hard Prog Rock LP. A genuine UK 1st pressing.
Gatefold Sleeve: There is some mild to more moderate rubbing wear to the bottom edge. There is some light or mild rubbing wear to the top edge. There is a small tear on the front sleeve. This is in the bottom left corner. There is some light ringwear on the rear sleeve. The spine is in very nice condition. The text is clearly legible. VG++ condition
Vinyl: There is a very small pressing mark, or heat pressing mark, on Side 1. It is very light & can only be seen when carefully viewed under a strong light. It mainly affects the 2nd track on Side 1. It causes some intermittent distortion per revolution. This lasts for approximately 40 seconds. This really depends on the weight of your tonearm. It is more noticeable on a lighter weighted tonearm. It is hardly noticeable when you adjust the tonearm to a heavier weighted setting.
Otherwise, there are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There is one 5 cm hairline mark. VG condition. There is a very tiny area of wear to the edge of Side 2's label (Picture side). Otherwise, the labels are in great condition & show light spindle wear only. The company paper inner sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some light to mild ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits.
As stated, there is a small heat pressing mark which affects to a minor, or mild, degree track number two on Side 1. Apart from that the LP plays Near Excellent to Excellent. There is some light or very mild crackle in some quieter places.
