Hi Vinyl freaks. In the next few weeks I'll put on auction more than 600 great and collectible records. Most records are true collector's items. Have a look, it is worthwhile! Condition Record/Sleeve: VG++/VG++ (record has some light hairlines and marks, plays great. Cover clean and unwritten, with light wear on corners and edges, tiny wol)

Death Walks Behind You", is their killer second album from 1970. It is a big step forward from their debut work, especially more heavier  .. The style is a hard prog with gothic tones, dominated by the organ of Crane and with the decisive contribution of John Cann, the new guitarist and singer of the band. There's no Carl Palmer, who has reached Emerson and Lake in the ELP. Paul Hammond, the new drummer, though less talented than his predecessor, proves to be a valid newcomer.

"Death Walks Behind You," the opening track, is one of the best songs of the album. Exceptional dark piano introduction, with a descending scale of notes that leaves the listener almost petrified with terror (could be the soundtrack of a horror movie). Then a powerful guitar riffs takes the scene, and the vocals of Cann extraordinarily in tune with the music. "VUG" is an instrumental piece very effective and very intricate with frantic duets of guitar and organ. The "bluesy" middle part sees Cann and Crane engaged in furious solos of good technical depth. "Tomorrow Night" is a more catchy and appealing song. Cann sings very well and there are great organ solos, as usual. The song is definitely more catchy than the previous two, but not tired even after repeated listening. The other songs are great, perhaps only "Sleeping For Years" is a little bit obvious. For the rest there are no weak moments in the album. "Streets" is an exceptional hard rock number, with gothic tones, and fantastic guitar riffs. Also good are the final and most experimental "Gershatzer", with many parts of piano and demonic organ solos, and the least aggressive "Nobody Else".
