SUPER ANALOGUE DISC LP KIJC 9005 JAPAN This stunning audiophile LP from King Records (KIJC 9005, Japanese pressing, heavy vinyl) features Jean Martinon and the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra's high-octane account of Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6 in B minor Op. 74 "Pathetique", recorded during 31 March to 3 April 1958 in the rich acoustics of the Sofienssaal, Vienna. It remains an under-rated performances, its intensity turned inward rather than outwardly emotive. These Japanese “Super Analogue Disc” pressing from King Records are quite remarkable – both the jacket and LP are quite thick and highly attractive – outstanding issues in every way. --------I AM NOT A PHOTOGRAPHER!!
