Description
One of the rarest and most desirable of audiophile LPs, Mark Levinson MAL 5 is a set of four 45rpm records in cloth slipcase. Charles Krigbaum, organist emeritus of Yale University, performs 15 Contrapuncti from The Art of Fugue and the chorale, "Vor deinem Thron tret’ ich." Although the notes do not specify recording locale, the instrument used is the 3-manual, 54-rank von Beckerath organ of Dwight Chapel at Yale. In distinctive original sleeves with 4-page insert of notes.
Records NM or better, slipcase VG++ or better (a few rubs and smudges on the light gray cloth. A beautiful set. Because of the value of these records, I will ship only by priority mail in the US or air mail to foreign destinations.
