Description
The Toshiba-EMI 'Pro-Use Series' of records are known to be among the finest among serious audiophiles. The title I am offering is no exception. Released in 1975, Takeshi Inomata's 'Morning After' fuses various percussive styles (including Far East, African, and Modern American Jazz) to create a unique and hypnotic soundscape. Side 1 in particular is absolutely stunning for the sharpness and detail in the audio and for the composition. At times it sounded very similar to a free form Frank Zappa piece or some of the later works recorded by King Crimson. Side 2 focuses on a more ambient style and hints at a more minimalist resolution. The audio on both sides is truly outstanding; as if the musicians are right there in your living room.
Condition of Lp Jacket: Excellent(+) .....only the corners show some wear to the otherwise sturdy jacket. Colors are vivid....some inoffensive numbers are written on the back.
Condition of (Japanese) Insert: Near Mint
Condition of Record: Near Mint....beautiful, glossy sheen....hardly a blemish to be seen.
