The record for sale is an incredibly rare and sort after original reggae single from 1969
Auntie Lulu by Slickers & Bag A Boo by Clancy Eccles
Record Details: Record Label: Duke Cat No: DU-9 (TMX-108) Year of Release: 1969
I use Record Collector official grading standards when selling records and being a collector of some years will never over estimate on a rating. Having cleaned the record and played through on high end Technics SL1210 deck the grading is as follows:
Vinyl - Classification would be GOOD
Auntie Lulu has a number of light marks leading to surface pops/crackles at entry however the track plays seamlessly throughout with no jumps and remains good quality. At exit (last 15 seconds) to runout there is a 'pop'.
Bag-A-Boo has similar surface marks but again plays through seamlessly
Labels - Side A has faint name written on label
Sleeve - Classification would be Nr Mint
Note: The rarity and importance of this record is such that I have tracked down and purchased a replica of the original Duke Records Inc sleeve bringing the package back to life
This is a significantly rare record which in excellent condition plus demands a very high price due to it's scarcity. Naturally I have taken all aspects of the condition of my copy into consideration when positioning the start price for this auction and regardless, this remains a fantastic piece of reggae history.
The record will be carefully packaged for safe transit and will be a signed for / insured service.
