Description
You are bidding on a super rare "Arthur Godfrey" Autogrpahed Boxed (2~record Set) Columbia Records.(The Autograph is printed copy on Album Set). I could not find a release date on these records but they say "Not For Sale" which means they were a gift or promos for disc jockeys which is even more rare. The unique box set cover has a picture of Mr. Godfrey with his signature which is pre~signed then added to cover. The Holland Furnace Company released this box set and they also sponsored Arhtur Godfreys CBS Radio Program in 1952....Among many things he hosted Authur Godfrey Time 1945~1972...(The 78rpm vinyl are clean And graded G+ with a light surface marks but play wonderfully! The box set is graded G~Good but shows signs of wear and age but over all good condition, ink written over the word Furnace.....Record One songs: "If I had you on a desert island w/Janette Davis."Side-2 Making love ukulele style."
Record two songs: "Wish I had a Girl" Side-2 "The Ukulele Song".
Also as a Special Addition we Found an Arthur Godfrey 78 Shellac with the songs "I'd Give a Million Tomorrow's" with the Mariners and "Slap 'Er Down Agin, Paw" with the "Too Fat Trio" We Think it Sounds Great with some Beautiful Crackles but NO Skips!!
