Autographed and Numbered 45 RPM Record "Looking for the Hi-D-Ho" Buddy Holly Inspired by Tinker Carlin and Sherry Holley Adams of Lubbock
The Hi-D-Ho was a round drive-in in Lubbock, Texas, and was once a favorite hangout of Buddy Holly's. It was a block away from the skating rink where Buddy and the Crickets once performed and which was memorialized in the movie "The Buddy Holly Story"
"Looking for the Hi-D-Ho" was produced by Buddy's older brother, Larry Holley. Tinker Carlen performed vocals on both the A and B sides. Sherry Holley Adams joined him on the B side, "Raining in my Heart."
Mr. Carlen autographed and numbered this record as number 418. That makes it one of a kind.
