Selling a rare Autographed Leon Boulanger Show Vinyl Record 33RPM Album. Local record label TWIN TOWN T.T.740, Minneapolis St. Paul, MN. Record jacket sleeve cover is a keepsake treasure by itself....5 band members standing beside the 1960s 1970s Chev Band Van...retro hippy window curtains and advertising on side of van...ITEN CHEVROLET PRESENTS: The Leon Boulanger Show. Back of cover offers liner note insight from George Hamilton IV...his memories of Leon and his band, along with 2 black and white photos of the band in action AND Leon’s autograph signature to a good friend. Leon was closely associated with the Minneapolis country music scene in the 60s and was also a member of Faron Young’s Band and played fiddle for Ernest Tubb and Nat Stuckey. He led a 5 piece Country Western swing band that performed as the house band for many years at the Flame Theatre Cafe...a legendary nightclub located in downtown Minneapolis. This album plays very well on the retro turntable console phonograph...most songs are all favorite familiar sing-a-longs...this album will not disappoint! Whether a fan of country, twang, hippybilly, rockabilly, swing, pop, classic, rock and roll, soul, blues, instrumentals or even jazz...this will be a favorite.
