Automatic For The People/ R.E.M. Vinyl LP Near-Mint 1992. Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd class.
Would like to describe this record as a "Final Upgrade" but unfortunately it has one small defect which is a short tear to the rear of the sleeve.
But, apart from that, there is absolutely nothing else wrong with it. Perfect, quiet, minty-fresh pressing. I played it tonight for the first time in over 20 years and it is in astonishingly fine condition - truly a "final upgrade" where sonics are concerned.
There are :
No skips
No jumps
No sticks
No pops
No crackle
No scratches
Labels are clean and pristine. The sleeve is 95% in excellent condition with a glossy sheen and a strong spine. Only that small tear prevents it from being perfect.
The original inner is also intact and in perfect condition.
This record dates from a time when it was becoming increasingly difficulty to find new vinyl pressings as the format withered and (almost) died. Quantities were in short supply even then, but it is a record that is hard to find in this condition today.
