The records are from my own collection so I can vouch that they play as described. Japanese vinyl is better than most because the manufacturing is more exact and the material of a high quality and somehow is more averse to static. This means that over time the record attracts less dust and dirt and the vinyl lasts longer and plays cleaner. Remember that with Japanese paper stocks the labels and covers are more prone to foxing which is all part of the ageing process. I have owned identical records in both: UK, US, European and Japanese versions and in ALL cases the Japanese vinyl sounds better. The difference I've found is in the depth and clarity and is especially more noticeable in the base frequencies. It's like the pixel resolution on a digital image 72dpi vs 100dpi. My equipment is NAD/KEF so nothing special, but good enough.
