Up for auction with a Buy it Now or Best Offer is a 1966 Beatles' Capitol Records MONO release of "Yesterday and Today" but otherwise known as the BUTCHER COVER!! This one is special because of its fabulous condition and still in original factory shrink wrap with the breath holes (one on George's shirt on front and one on back near the Beatles' Story mini album photo--see photos. I obtained this many years ago from our Beatles' US Records expert Perry Cox and it still has his nice yellow sticky note that he sent me with the album....As you can see the bottom right corner of the trunk slick is peeled back to reveal the butcher..some of the butcher slick in two places was also pilled up and remains adhered to the back of the trunk slick, so technically it is all there...all three seams are tight and intact all the around inside the shrink...the cover still maintains its whiteness with only the slightest of aging on fron and back at mouth of album opening...see photos...this is a #6 or West Coast LA pressing of the album...comes with original Capitol Records orange inner sleeve...comes with matching LA vinyl record (machine stamped asterisk in trail off area....Labels look great on the vinyl...the vinyl has obviously been played and does contain scratches, scuffing and minor wear.....the shrink wrap is in great shape too....the slightest of tear in shrink on top back at opening but no plastic missing....still has it's original in store sticker affixed to the shrink on the front cover....very cool piece and a definite upgrade....good luck!
