Rare -- Pianist, instructor and self-appointed "Czar of Ragtime" Axel Christensen performs piano solos of "Walking Blues" (James Blythe) and "Syncophonic" on Paramount 20603, please note that this record has some sort of visible heat damage -- and while it would otherwise likely seem to be in new and unsold and unplayed condition -- it has a consistently audible "Swish" as it plays through both sides -- The performance is loud and strong -- and wonderful, but the swish is, nonetheless, still present -- so I will rate it V++ with heat damage-related surface noise, 78 rpm.
