Description

Hello, this listing is for an ultra rare Flexi disc single by Punk/New Wave artist/author Bob George. This 7" flexi single was recorded and released in 1978 via Bob's own One Ten Records label, which put out some early releases from Laurie Anderson among others. Flexi plays at 33RPM and is unique in that it has staples in the run out where the center labels should be. Only 5 known copies in existence and this is one of them. Definitely one of the more rare KBD records out there. Flexi is in great shape. Plays great with just some slight noise. The music/vocals overpower it though. Original envelope style, stamped jacket sleeve has age related wear around edges some and age related discoloring. Looks to have some very minor water staining as well. There are no seam splits. It's in generally great shape considering it's age. "Mono Solo Play Very Loud" is hand stamped on the rear of the sleeve. The purpose of the staples in the run out is to invoke the idea that the machine that plays music, can easily be used to destroy it as well, and that we should perhaps think twice about playing music at all. Very cool and one of a kind. A must own for rare punk collectors. Priced below what it's sold for in the past and way below what the only other known copy is being offered at.

Items will usually ship out within 2 business days upon receipt of payment. I do travel out of town for work regularly, and now that the pandemic is a factor, it means less trips to the post office weekly. That said it could end up being 3-5 days before it ships. I will do my best to alert you ahead of time if there is a delay. The global shipping program will handle any international shipments. Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions. Thanks for looking.
