J.S. Bach: Six Suites for Unaccompanied Cello

2 LP set - L'Oiseau-Lyre OLS 133/4 - stereo - Made in England

This set comprises two discs; Oiseau-Lyre OLS133-134, of highly acclaimed performances and stunning sound of J.S. Bach Six Suites for Unaccompanied Cello played by Jean-Max Clement on two English-pressed stereo records (L'Oiseau-Lyre was part of the Decca Record company)

Both records have a very bright sheen and whilst they have had some use (light, just visible spindle marks) they appear very well looked after and are both in excellent condition generally; there are no marks that can be felt to the touch, but some very light (probably paper) marks that can only be seen in a certain light and do not sound. Both records played faultlessly (no ticks), sound superb and have a virtually silent background the one time I played them at what was a high volume. 

Both record sleeves are in excellent condition; the front of the sleeves are in very clean condition indeed (no marks, splits or tears) with the top of the sleeve of record two come unstuck (very easily repaired). The picture gives a very good impression of the condition of the sleeves.

Very Scarce Record Set

The records will be packaged in a new, custom-made record sleeve, with three stiffeners.
