Description
Bach- Gaspar Cassado 3 LP box, original Vox pressing, cat# VBX 15. Matrix stamped "RVG" & etched "M-1148.A-1", "ARC" etched smaller as well. Sound Engineering by Rudy Van Gelder.
Vinyl is bright, clean and glossy with some sleeve- burn throughout the set.
Side 1- NM
Side 2- VG, a couple very short hairlines which cause a few ticks and one odd looking, wide and grey radial mark which causes a noticeable tick for about 10 rotations.
Side 3- VG, some light sleeve-burn and quite a few short hairlines which cause some light ticking in parts. Not overwhelming, still a nice listen.
Side 4- VG+, some light sleeve-burn and a few light and surface hairlines.
Side 5- VG+, one light hairline through the first track which causes an occasional and light tick.
Side 6- VG+, some sleeve-burn and a few light hairlines and radial (cleaning?) marks
The box is VG, all 4 corners are split evenly along the seams. (the 4th photo is indicative of all 4 corners, the even splits make a repair job quite a bit easier). The spine is fully intact and un-torn, but there are some creases towards the top. There is one tear on the front flap/box edge (1/4 inch and visible in photos). The front image itself is still very presentable, with a few fingerprint smudges, some spotting and some light waffling/moisture damage along the bottom edge of the front cover.
Comes with original libretto, which has quite a bit of yellowing and spotting.
