Description
RARE complete set on Classical Record International, a small dutch private label.
Jean Decroos plays the six suites for violoncello solo of J.S. Bach. Stereo records, 180460/1/2. recorded in april and may 1979. Jean Decroos was then solo cellist of the Concertgebouw orchestra. He was born on calais, France, and studied with Pierre Fournier and Andre Navarra. He is well known as a important cello teacher in the Netherlands. This recording is tipical of the French cello tradition, Decroos playing with warmth and understanding.
This box set is in really mint condition. I can say just one minor point: the text on the spine is difficult to read due to discoloring. The records seem the have been hardly played ever: there are no spindle marks! The small booklet is included, but is is in Dutch...
This set has shown up on ebay only a very few times. This is your chance for a mint set!
I will send this set only with registered mail.
Be sure to check out all my other items! This week some nice decca sxl records, see also the other Classical record international item with violist Theo Olof, with Bach solo violin sonatas and partitas!
Payment within 4 days after invoice, unless otherwise agreed with the buyer.

Grading:
M: never used. I don’t use this grade unless the record is sealed
NM: No visible or audible faults
EX: Record has clearly been used, but has no major audible faults, some non sounding marks possible, maybe some dirt or light surface noise (especially on older mono record, surface noise is quite normal).
VG: Light audible faults, ticks or surface noise
G: scratches, etc. I don’t sell record in this condition, unless they are very special and collectible.
Records are first graded visually. If I have doubts, I grade them on my linn lp12 / clearaudio sigma.
