Description
J.S. BACH: Sonatas- Partitas for violin solo played by Jean CHAMPEIL.
Jean CHAMPEIL was a pupil of Georges ENESCO, member of the CALVET Quartet.
On this record composed of extracts of the Sonatas I-II-III and Partitas I-II-III he plays his own interpretation built from the original manuscrit.
Side 1: SONATA I:Adagio-Siciliana / PARTITA I: Allemande-Sarabande-Bourrée / SONATA II: Grave-Andante / SONATA III: Adagio-Largo.
Side 2: PARTITA II:Sarabande-Giga-Chaconne / PARTITA III: Prélude-Gavotte-Louré-Menuet.
Very rare french LP on VEGA C30S208.
Conditions:
Cover: Hard cardboard gatefold cover EX(slight traces of wear ).
This LP includes a score booklet (photo)printed on a bible paper.(EX).
Record: shows surface marks and one scratch on the side 1
Playgrading:
Side 1
The scratch begins from the tracks 5 (Bourrée of the Partita I) and ends at the 2/3 of the tracks 8 (adagio of the sonata 3).This scratch gives regular slight ticks.(could be graded VG-/G+).
The other tracks play VG+/EX- (some crackles).
Side 2: plays EX/EX-(some crackles).
Obviously a near mint record would be better but nevertheles this copy is quite correct and the cover is in great conditions.
