Description

BACHDENKEL  ??????????  (Stalingrad)  -  rare promo Initial label prog/psych 1979 UK issue LP, copy number 004748

Initial recording Company  IRC 002,  1979 UK issue, ?1977,  matrix numbers IRC-002-A1, IRC-002-B1;  stamped copy number 004748;  sleeve stickered as ‘promotional copy’;  sleeve printed by MacNeill Press Ltd.

Cover  EX+(+)  Overall superb condition: just a few spots of wear to the top and open edges, faint partial ring impression on the panels, some slight marks on the record company stickers (explanatory sticker on front, ‘promotional copy’ sticker on rear).

Original poly-lined inner sleeve and printed insert in excellent condition: a little age-related discolouration, the time 8’00” written next to ?????????? on the insert.

Disc  EX  No obvious marks on vinyl which looks clean, fresh and glossy. Labels fine, unmarked. Playthrough is excellent, revealing a very well recorded album: one click noted on side 1, two light clicks on side 2; some brief light crackle at the beginning of both sides and into the run outs; some faint or light crackle or light surface noise across track breaks, bleeding into the intros of some tracks, nothing intrusive
