An outstanding COPY of this very collectable classic LP. IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN THIS ORIGINAL RELEASE..MOST COPIES ARE RE-ISSUED ONES IN A DIFFERENT SLEEVE, THAT WERE RELEASED AFTER 1975

THE VINYL   EX+ 

As you can see, this vinyl is the highly prized 1st UK pressing with the 1//1 matrix number confirming this is the very first pressing. This first pressing is in superb condition, AND INCREDIBLY RARE TO SEE IN THIS ORIGINAL 1973 ISSUE.

It has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.

There are A FEW whisp lines, and a couple of tiny little marks on the vinyl- Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years.

THERE IS SURPLUS WAX AROUND THE CENTRE HOLE, again confirming the vinyl has barely seen a turntable.

No spindle skate around the centre hole again suggests this LP has maybe a few plays at best.

On playing the vinyl we did hear some crackle here and there througout both sides, this could be due to dust, as it is clearly not through play1 so a 'professional hoover' clean could remedy this..but we cleaned it carefuly to get the dust off where the vinyl has sat untouched for decades..NO SKIPS OR JUMPS, but there is tme static crackle as mentioned.

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

THE SLEEVE     MINT-   INCREDIBLE.

Correct FLAT MATT  Gatefold first issued earliest sleeve with no printer credits (tho it is clearly a 'Howards design'!)

-- this is straight out the box from 1973 - JUST IMMACULATE, AND OH SO RARE TO SEE THIS EDITION.

 This is in simply incredible condition, you will not see better than this we feel!

The edges are all super clean with just some very small spots/ traces of rub, and the tips also have the slightest rub, all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition- The finish is immaculate and where as many copies have powdery wear and scuff, this sleeve remains in absolute museum condition.

No powdery white ringwear or even ring press of any note, and all edges are super crisp.

Some very light spiderlins in afew places, and one tiny little crease on the back bottom left.

One small dink on bottom of spine.

The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition with no hint of handling

The open out of the gatefold is simply perfect, no dulling, white rub or wear at all. wonderful!

The spine edge is totally unmarked and all legends are perfect-there are no spots or signs of any wear at all!

This sleeve to put it simply is as good as you will ever see.

WE CLARIFY BY SAYING, THIS IS JUST SUCH A RARE FIND..WE DON'T KNOW IF WE WILL SEE THIS AGAIN FOR AGES!
