Description
Here we have the debut album from blues outfit Bacon Fat called Grease One For Me issued by the Blue Horizon Label in 1970.I am selling this record on behalf of a friend who does not have internet facilities.He tells me he has not played the record more than three or maybe four times over the years since he bought it,and looking at the vinyl it certainly looks in nice condition.He has always had good quality single play record decks ever since I have know him (over 40 years).I have inspected the vinyl closely and there is only half a dozen very fine marks on the record,and you have to get up very close to see these.My friend always has handled his vinyl carefully.These marks appear mostly to be "feathering" which is caused by taking the record out of its inner sleeve.The cover has only two real flaws,two small very light (about one inch) pinch creases in the bottom left hand corner of the front,and some minor storage edge wear on the top left hand side of the top edge and some also in the middle of the bottom edge but it is pretty light.In addition the record is an early pressing with A1/B1 matrix numbers.The starting price on the album is the minimum my friend wants to accept as he knows this is a rare lp.Mint copies are listed in the current Record Collector Guide at £70.If you have any questions feel free to ask.,and also please check my feedback and you will see im an experienced seller of many years standing.I have sold albums of this type in the past,and this is one of the better ones I have come across in quality.
