Bacon Fat – Tough Dude (12” LP)Bacon Fat were American blues band (originally the Southside Blues Band ) from Los Angeles, CA, formed in 1968 by Buddy Reed, Richard Innes, Gregg Schaefer, J.D. Nicholson, Jerry Smith and Rod Piazza. The group released two albums the immediately following years and finally split in the early 70's. Their music is totally devoted to electric Chicago blues sound.
Side One: Wait On It; Down The Road; Betty; Leaving On Your Mind; Jivin' The Business; Shake Dancer.
Side Two: Travelling South; Evil; Blues Feeling; Pool Hall Sam; Transatlantic Blues; Hurricane.
The album is on Blue Horizon Records, 2431 001. Matrix side one: 2431001 A//1▽ 11 1 (stamped). Matrix side two: 2431001 B//1 11 1 (stamped).
Released in 1971. UK pressing. Stereo.

Condition: (as Record Collector’s grading system)
Vinyl side 1: excellent (has the odd light superficial mark that does not affect the audio in any way,
plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 2: excellent (has the odd light superficial mark that does not affect the audio in any way,
plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Cover (matt): very good (a few light creases, bit of edge wear, rubbing, the odd small mark).
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy on return of the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler. 1736 (GS 9.9.5 (1736))
