Great LP!! These are raw demos recorded in June of 1979 at the famous Inner Ear Studios in Virginia by Don Zientara before the Bad Brains relocated to New York City.  As you will see from the track listing, many of these songs later appeared in different versions of the band’s immortal 1982 ROIR cassette.  But here you have raw, powerful versions of many of those classics, as well as some tunes which I believe were never released in any version until this LP came out.

I bought this LP new when it came out, so I am the original owner and have only played it a handful of times thus the vinyl is graded as Near Mint.  This is the limited 1st pressing on white vinyl, of which only 1,000 were pressed (this copy is a pretty low number- #296 of 1,000).  The sleeve would have also been graded as Near Mint but there is a small “ding” in the upper right corner of the sleeve (which was there when I bought it unfortunately).  Also comes with the nice, glossy full-color inner sleeve full of photos and history about the band.  This inner sleeve is thin and rather fragile, though. See scans below of everything- and please note that the big, black dot on the front and back of the LP sleeve is completely black- my digital camera's flash created the white spot in the middle of it.

Payment is preferred through PayPal and is due within 5 days after the auction ends (my auctions always begin/end on a Sunday so therefore payment must be received the following Friday).  Postage prices are the responsibility of the winning bidder of course.  Within the United States record will be shipped by either Media Mail, 1st Class Mail or Priority Mail (your choice).  For international, non-U.S. bidders this record will be shipped via Air Mail or Global Priority Mail which is a flat rate to most countries (with a few exceptions).  I always get questions from non-U.S. bidders about shipping rates so I can tell you that Air Mail will be cheaper than Global Priority Mail.  With Global Priority Mail, it’s more expensive because your record will arrive faster than standard Air Mail.

And please note that when I ship records, I take great care to make sure the record is packaged properly- I always separate the picture sleeve from the vinyl and secure them tightly with cardboard so that nothing gets damaged in transit.
