Bad English was just like a dream come true. Neal Schon on the guitar, Deen Castronovo on the drums, the singer John Waite, the bassist Ricky Phillips and Jonathan Cain joined forces to make two brilliant melodic hard rock albums called Bad English and Backlash. I think both albums were unforgettable musical statements about respect for each other's musicianship and took AOR music to a higher level to get people to realise what vibrant talent 'old' veterans of this musical genre have.
