Description
Up for auction is a copy of Apple Of My Eye b/w Blind Owl by Badfinger, released in 1973 on Apple, cat no APPLE 49. This is a UK pressing, and is a stock copy. It was the final 45 to be issued on Apple (aside from solo Beatle projects), and sold in minuscule quantities; it’s generally assumed that stock copies of these later Apple 45s are rarer than DJ copies – there are *no* stock copies of this single listed on popsike, for example. It’s also, of course, a fantastic 45; a melancholic, heart-tugging Pete Ham ballad.
Condition: looks unplayed. M-.
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor), following Record Collector’s grading guidelines, with an extra + or – here & there to separate the wheat from the chaff. I never use mint as a grade for used records. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings.
