Description

Up for sale is an original 1973 UK demo/promo issue of the Badfinger single "Apple of My Eye" c/w "Blind Owl".  The record comes in its original Apple company sleeve and bears the release date of 11.3.74.

I am a former record collector in the process of liquidating the bulk of the collection.

Record condition:

Label: clean, crisp and clear both sides with no markings or writing.  Round centre with "demo record not for sale" text still attached. 

Vinyl: EX+ condition as per Rare Record Price Guide "The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality." Retains an excellent shine overall as seen in photos.

Sleeve: original period company sleeve, intact with no tears and practically no wear at all.  

Sound quality: excellent and clear sound reproduction, minor surface noise in run-in and run-off only audible when played at high volume.  A video capture of the A-side is available: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0j3DU1RW4s.  Note that the record being played is the actual one for sale in this listing and was recorded by myself.  This record was tested on a Sansui SR-2050C turntable.
