RARE PUNJABI ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSING LP FOLK RECORD, HMV ECLP 2439, BLACK CENTRE LABELS (NOT THE RED LABELS WHICH IS A RE-ISSUE), THICK CARDBOARD-STYLE COVER
VINYL CLEAN AND SHINY, VISUALLY THERE ARE SOME SURFACE MARKS, SOME LIGHT SCRATCHES AND COUPLE MORE VISIBLE SCRATCHES BUT NO BIG PROBLEMS, IT ACTUALLY PLAYS BETTER THAN IT LOOKS, CLEAR SOUND WITH OCCASIONAL LIGHT CRACKLE, SO VISUALLY GRADES VG BUT PLAYS VG+
COVER G+, HAS A SPLIT ON THE CENTRE OF THE SPINE, THE BACK SIDE HAS SOME PEN MARKS, LIGHT STAINS, SEE THE PHOTOS
Record Collector's Grading System
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover or any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packing might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite notable surface marks and the occasional scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
