BALLOON FARM (UK Demo 29.3.1968)
A Question of Temperature / Hurtin' for your Love English pressing of this garage/psych-punk classic, and a Demonstration copy too! Pressed in incredibly small quantities in the UK, so very rare indeed, especially in this condition. Side 2 is a much slower organ-drive tune. Book price £150 for non demo copy! They issued 2 records for Laurie Records. This Demonstration pressing is incredibly hard to get hold of as it is the English 'London' pressing, pressed in incredibly small quatities, and which did not sell well in the UK, hence the £150 book price for a London UK original.- Details: (Note I use Record Collectors grading, trying to be as strict as possible):-
- Published: England 1968, Pre-release demonstration copy.
- Label: LONDON (HLP 10185). Matirix numbers MSU 7894/5. Orange label stamped "DEMONSTRATION SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE. Made in England. Release date 29-3-68.
- Condition: CONSERVATIVE GRADING here. Side A = VG, Side B = EX-. side A has light scratches (Some small marks, not deep. See Photo 3). This produces some light clicking during the intro, but is drowned out mostly by the loud tune. Otherwise, vinyl is in excellent shape: sound quality is excellent, no distortion, very bright and clean.
- Labels: EX. No visible spindel ware.
- Sleeve: Original company sleeve is Good; some creasing, and partial split to seam.
I don't charge for Paypal. All records shipped in stiff card board mailer, with 2 cardboard inserts. I will refund if you are not entirely happy! I will post WORLDWIDE (see below for prices).
