BAMA THE VILLAGE POET – “Ghettos of the Mind” (1972) Chess-50032 Sparse funk grooves backing a black power ghetto poet. Thoughtful stuff, and great music
Content Notes: Such a great political-power early ghetto rap piece backed by a great Chi-town funk band. Open, sparce funk grooves, and powerful, deep early raps, but this is not over the top like the Last Poets – this is for listening, and appreciating. Really rare LP.

PACKAGING
I package all LPs securely in record mailers and remove the vinyl from the covers to prevent seam splits during mailing. I do not just stick your record in a priority mailer box from the post office or between two thin pieces of cardboard with no additional packaging materials like so many others!!!
