Bamyili Artifacts Group ?– BAMYILI CORROBOREE: Songs Of Djoli Laiwanga (SCARCE 1976 Australian 12” vinyl LP Album released on Grevillea Records ?– GRV 1030) There are various categories of Aboriginal song which are open only to selected members of the tribe. Music however is a basic force in Aboriginal society and there is also much “open” music that can be listened to and enjoyed by everyone. This recording prents songs from an open corroboree which is performed for the enjoyment of members of the community and sometimes for tourists. The group that performs this corroboree has travelled to many parts of the world to give others a glimpse of Aboriginal culture. LP is housed in picture sleeve near mint.

The record has been played many times but shows no significant deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks. Sleeve has normal wear and tear without any major defects.

GOOD (G)

The record has been played enough that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably and may have pops and skips. The sleeve may suffer from scuffs, spine splits, ring wear and/or discolouration.

CONDITION: This item is in excellent or mint condition unless stated above.
