Banana Moon Band
 S/T (Monster Melodies) Cover M / vinyl M     BANANA MOON BAND is a ghost album/band by former Soft Machine and Gong leader DAEVID ALLEN. He created this band just after leaving Soft Machine and just before Gong, with the help of singer Gilly Smith and Patrick Fontaine and Marc Blanc, who soon will become AME SON.
This is the first ever issue on vinyl of the mythical recordings by this ephemere crew of musicians.
Monster Melodies label did a great work with a superb cover art, featuring a gorgeous gold-like cover, that really pays tribute to the brillant BYG cover-art done in the 70's for the band. A great load of works has also been done for the bonus (6 postcards of the band on LSD (??), 2 cool inserts).
If you're a fan of Daevid Allen and Gong music, this is a must-have.
