The Band Without A Name put out only one single with Tower Records and this is it. It was a project that was a small part of ex-Beach Boy David Marks musical past. He was original member of the Beach Boys then left the group and became the leader of Dave & the Marksmen, who had local recordings. Marks then formed the Band Without a Name, who cut two singles, one for Tower and another forSidewalk and were the house band at two Sunset Strip clubs, circa 1965-1966. After leaving this group, Marks formed the Moon with organ/ pianist/ vocalist Matthew Moore, who penned most of the band's songs.
SO here you have the radio re-service of their version of “Turn On Your Lovelight” with the same song on both sides.
