12" orange vinyl limited edition LP from about a decade ago!  They made the first pressing in a couple of colors.  I think there was supposed to be some sort of a swirl that ended up getting screwed up and came out pink.  Is that right?

Anyway, I've read that there were only 300 of this one made!  This is in NM shape.  UNPLAYED.  It still has shrinkwrap on it.  It was opened just to look at it, but no one has ever even pulled it out of its sleeve all the way.

ANYWAY, this is a copy of the ORANGE VINYL.  It is RARE, and has amazing meaningful art, songs, and an insert with lyrics.

Bane, a hardcore punk band, began as a side project between Aaron Dalbec (then of Converge) and Damon Bellardo. Aaron approached Matt Firestone to sing and they played under the moniker of Gateway for a few shows, before Firestone departed ways to focus on other projects. Dalbec then approached Aaron Bedard (who had previously sang for the Worcester, Massachusetts hardcore band Backbone) about singing for Bane. They went into the studio in December 1995 with a few friends and released a 5 song demo. The next year saw the release of their first EP, and many shows throughout central Massachusetts. The home crowd reactions at local venues The Space, The Espresso Bar and The Palladium were positive. Spring of 1997 saw the release of the Free To Think, Free To Be EP, where 1998 saw the release of the Holding This Moment 7" and CD collection, plus their first US Tour. Bane can be classified as a hardcore punk band from the Worcester area that is known for its energy, anthems, honesty and promotion of tolerance and unity within the hardcore scene.

In earlier albums Bane claimed straight edge, however it was never their main political focus. All members are currently drug free, minus the current drummer, Bob Mahoney. They still perform early songs with straight edge references, such as "Count Me Out" which includes the lyric "Just like this X on the back of my hand, I'm not going nowhere". However, the lyrics to the song "Wasted On The Young", on Bane's latest album The Note can be interpreted as criticism of people who ignorantly claim straight edge too early in their life.

It All Comes Down to This is the first full-length album from the hardcore band Bane and deals with loss and unity within the hardcore scene.

The album artwork tackled the subject of loss by reproducing photographs taken by journalists who had died in the Vietnam and Indochina wars. The photos have been called both graphically poignant and emotionally and visually thought-provoking. 

To reinforce this imagery, the band placed mellow musical interludes at certain parts of the album – tracks 3 and 10 – to cause of a sudden mood of reflection before and after the savagery of the hardcore songs which dominate this recording.

The record release show for this album coincided with the Back to School Jam 3 on October 30th, 1999 in Worcester, Massachusetts at the Palladium. The lineup for the show included Right Brigade, Dillinger Escape Plan, Boy Sets Fire, Bane, and Converge. Patrons attending this show were also able to purchase copies of Saves the Day's just released album Through Being Cool.

• A portion of lyrics to 'Bang The Drum Slowly' from the album Give Blood are printed under the sole of Macbeth Footwear's Elliot shoes.
• Zach Jordan and Pete Chilton also play in Silent Drive who are currently signed to Equal Vision.
• Drummer Bob Mahoney played in the influential Boston hardcore band Reach the Sky.
• The following lines quoted in the song 'Snakes Among Us' from the album Give Blood are from Nick Drake's song 'Road':

"You can take a road that takes you to the stars, I can take a road that will see me through"

Also, in the same song, a quote from an American Nightmare song

The song "F*ck What You Heard" begins with a sound clip from Apocalypse Now

We're all collectors and know that other collectors appreciate the extra mile.  I mean, there may be a smoker in the building, but he doesn't blow it into the records, and we handle them as if they might explode! (Although they won't, postal person, we promise)
