BARBARA ACKLIN, Loves makes a woman, original 1st UK 1968 MCA stereo LP.
MUPS 366, original first issue 1968 UK red / yellow MCA stereo record labels.
A first issue 1968 UK stereo copy in original condition, featuring:
1. a hard to find copy, original first UK issue on the original red and yellow ‘MCA’ record labels,
2. original first issue UK stereo record matrix of, 11664 1L / 11665 1L,
3. earliest ‘mother / stampers’ on side two being, ‘1B’,
4. original first issue 1968 UK stereo record made of the period quality, ‘thick heavy’ vinyl,
5. track four, side two, the ‘writers credit’ on the record label has the spelling of ‘London’, but on the sleeve this had been ‘mis pressed’ as, ‘Loudon’,
6. comes with its original period UK 1968, ‘care for your record / stereo’, notes inner sleeve.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in very good condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The two opening edges have remained clean. The spine is in very good+ condition and nearly all of the text on the spine is still readable. Theres NO tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue to the sleeve. On the rear of the sleeve, top left, there is a slight ‘water’ mark, also there is a slight ‘water’ mark to the bottom, left corner. On the rear there are two small areas of blue pen.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good+ condition and is the original period UK 1968 ‘blue box’, ‘care for your record / stereo’, notes inner sleeve. The two opening edges have remained very clean. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue to the inner sleeve.
THE RECORD: side one, is in overall very good condition and side two is in very good+ condition. The record is made from the period 1960s quality thick, heavy vinyl.
The records ‘engraved’ matrix are: side one - 11664 1L and side two - 11665 1L,
the records engraved ‘mother / stampers’ are, side one - ‘1U’ and side two - ‘1B’, ‘1B’ being the earliest ‘mother /stampers’ you can get.
THE AUDIO: side one, I did hear some ‘ticks’ on track three, to the last half, so I will grade the audio here as being ‘good’, I also heard some ‘ticks’ on track six, so I will grade the audio here as being ‘good’, the rest of side one plays very good with some ‘crackle’, ‘ticks and ‘pops’. Side two, plays very good, side two plays with some ‘crackle’, ‘ticks’ and ‘pops’. The record lays flat on the turntable.
THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in excellent++ condition. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.
TO GRADE THE CONDITION OF THE RECORD I AM USING THE OFFICIAL GRADING SYSTEM FROM THE ‘RECORD COLLECTOR’ MAGAZINE.

PACKING - ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION. BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVE, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
