Description

A COUPLE OF EARLY 1970s FEMALE ROCK LPS ON THE COLLECTABLE SIDE TODAY!  This is an ORIGINAL 1973 U.S. REPRISE RECORDS self-titled WHITE LABEL PROMO LP from ex-Kangaroo rock vocalist and songwriter Barbara Keith. It is Reprise Records catalog number MS 2087, white label promo with its 8" square promotional insert that gives an album review, personnel, and the track listing.   Labels bear one additional inscription which does not appear in my accompanying image.  This LP appears to be a RARE ITEM which has not been offered on eBay either at auction or at fixed price sale during the past month as far as I can tell.  This LP contains Barbara's original version of the Delaney & Bonnie and Barbra Streisand hit 'Free The People;' and her sought-after version of the Bob Dylan tune 'All Along The Watchtower' - Please see the accompanying image of the promotional insert for personnel and the rest of the track listing.  Condition of record is a real nice high VG+ with a few light surface and sleeve marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play. Condition of cover is a low to mid VG+ with some light brown mildew staining as can be seen in the accompanying image, a few small wrinkles, some contact and ring wear as can be seen in the accompanying image, and some other general wear along the edges and on the corners. This RARE LP would make a choice addition to any early 1970s rock record collection!
