RECORD packaging and shipping method:  I am a record collector who understands the importance of securely packing records. I always pad the package well to prevent shifting during transit.  I also use industry-standard shipping boxes which are specifically designed for shipping records.

Here's a beautiful copy of Barbara Lea with the Johnny Windhurst Quartet on the Prestige label, 50th Street address with RVG in the dead wax.  Please read below for more detailed information.

The vinyl: VG++  (read below / listen)
Record is as the pictures show. I've cleaned the record on my VPI machine.  The vinyl has some a couple light marks and very light sleeve scuffs, but overall the vinyl looks very, very nice.  There is one small mark that I've taken a picture of that creates a slight click/pop for the first 20 seconds or so of the first song, side 1 at the lead in, there's an example of this in the clips below.

The second side plays clean with only very light background noise due to a few very light marks, the first clip below has the example of playback on that side. No skips of course, continuous playback throughout, excellent fidelity in my opinion.  I have listened to the entire album, recorded it to disk and can make the file available to the winning bidder if desired. The record looks exactly as the pictures on the left show...  It sounds exactly as the mp3 files play below. 

The actual, unedited sound file below is provided by my Yamaha P-520 Direct Drive TT with Digitrac 280E cartridge @ 1.5 grams /// I can't guarantee the record will sound exactly like the file below since all turntables are equipped differently.

The labels are in NM- condition
The many pictures here show the labels accurately.

The cover is in VG+ to VG++ condition
Cover looks great.  There is a vertical area on the front where the clear coat shows separation but this does not break the surface.  There is a print chip at the top of the spine, as shown in the pictures.  Very light contact wear to the cover otherwise, limited mostly to the corners.  Generally looks very nice in my opinion.  Print on the cover appears as the pictures show with a nice shine.  Print on the back looks nice as well with minimal foxing, a 'JAZZ' stamp in purple/blue appears at the top right of the back cover.  Spine print is clear as the pictures show.

The inner window sleeve is one I've added to the purchase, it is new with poly-lining and paper outer shell.  There was no sleeve with the record when I purchased it and I immediately put the record in the new sleeve as soon as possible.

This is a very nice copy of the album in my opinion.  Some small flaws exist, but it sounds just fantastic as these original pressings should with that deep groove tone.

GRADING:
I will have the Goldmine Standard in mind when grading but will be taking plenty of pictures to represent the records condition. Any items having multiple condition grades: First grade is vinyl, second is the sleeve.

Here are grading abbreviations I may use:

"Goldmine Standard" grading:

SS = Still Sealed
Never opened. Any flaws (torn shrinkrwrap, creasing) will be indicated in the description.

NM- = Near Mint Minus
Has been opened, but is still flawless
with no damage whatsoever.

VG+ = Very Good Plus
- Vinyl: May have scuff marks and signs of some wear but will still play almost perfectly throughout, with only "barely detectable" crackles or pops. A slight noise at the begining is allowable, but the remainder must be nearly flawless.
- Cover: May only have the slightest signs of normal wear.
