It is the story of the surfer, his way of life and his sport; the excitement, and fun in the sun on the beaches and backroads of Hawaii and California. "BAREFOOT ADVENTURE" is a candid look at the young surfers and their quest for adventure. The musical score was composed by BUD SHANK. He is heard in the group, along with: BOB COOPER, CARMELL JONES, DENNIS BUDIMER, GARY PEACOCK and SHELLY MANNE. The producer wanted a sound that was DIRTY, CHURCHY, MEDIUM FUNKY, or, as he added.. " exciting, but not TOO exciting, slightly happy...yet sad and ominous." He got both in one great soundtrack recording. This soundtrack score includes all the main themes taken from 70 minutes of screen music.
