Probably the RAREST and HARDEST to find piece of vinyl from the last 35 years, this baby is just NEVER seen for sale on Ebay! And when it is, they are snapped up FAST by hardcore collectors or dealers! A hugely sought after piece of wax... This is BARNES & BARNES almost UNIQUE 45 RPM 7 inch vinyl EP from 1982, that contains their notorious "I HAD SEX WITH E.T." song on it! It was banned days after release. Got lots of airplay at the time back in 1982, but Universal Pictures shut down sales of the song! Only 72 of the 200 copies made were sold. All the extra labels and metal stampers were destroyed. Serious stuff! Gosh knows how many are left out there in the big wide world! But here is a strikingly MINT copy for sale on Ebay this week!
Never before played, not only is this SO groovy and "New-like", but it has one of the more strikingly bold covers ever seen! As you recall, B & B hand color tinted each one differently (with watercolor paint and markers)... No two are alike! WOW!
Contains 4 songs total on this 7 inch disc: I HAD SEX WITH E.T.- I HAD SEX WITH PAC-MAN- SO BOLD (1st & still unreleased on Cd version)- and IF YOU HURT NO ONE. Dr. Demento played 2 of these songs a lot, and E.T. was a smash on his show and KROQ also, in Los Angeles. Fun stuff! From Lumania Records. Grab it FAST, Barnes fans, Bill Mumy and Dr. Demento fans.
