Description

OK boy & girls, this could be the RAREST BARNES & BARNES vinyl record of all time! This was the ONLY copy discovered hiding in the VAST B & B archives. Near the rear service elevator exit, on the 5th floor, 8 rooms down across from the main storage hall, in the corner of the room, surrounded and hidden from sight by a stack of 50 unreleased vinyl copies of the first 1975 version of FISH HEADS b/w T.P.M. (The Pusher Man), did we finally come across this 4 song EP. Yes a 4 song EP Test Press from 1982, with ARTIE BARNES scribbled handwriting on it of these 4 songs: So Bold- I Had Sex With Pac-Man- If You Hurt No One- I Had Sex With E.T.
This first version of SO BOLD is still unreleased even today! Not on Cd yet. Neither is SEX WITH E.T. or SEX WITH PAC-MAN!  Comes in a plain white sleeve, with all song titles handwritten out by ARTIE on 8-3-82, the day the guys got this test pressing! The record looks flat and virtually unplayed. This could be the ONLY time this one shows up for sale. As you know if you studied your ancient BARNES history, the SEX WITH E.T. ep had a low pressing of 200 copies only. So that one goes for a small fortune the few times it's ever showed up on Ebay! SEX WITH E.T. got lots of airplay on the Dr. Demento show, KROQ in Los Angeles, and elsewhere. Then the guys were told to stop selling it and were forced to turn in all the manufacturing materials to Universal's lawyers to be destroyed! Universal didn't have a sense of humor regarding their cute little E.T. character. You couldn't put the words SEX together with E.T. it seems. Pretty silly, I think! 
So that's the deal with this baby! Grab it now, Barnes, Dr. Demento, Bill Mumy, Artie Barnes fans! This one is, dare I say, unique?!
