Another cult european avant gard jazz record , CULT meeting between soul jazz / free jazz / modal jazz MASTER BARNEEY WILEN and the great piano vein of FRANCOIS TUSQUES one the best avant gard frenchy piano jazz players ( and for sure the most advanced prepared piano player from france ) .The session concept take his roots during a car race in MONTE CARLO IN the late 60°s , BARNEY WILEN were recorded the sound of the race with RECORDER while the driver LORENZO BANDINI just has a fatal crash with his car , BARNEY WILEN so decided to made an lp about his day by using the soudn of the race during the records , plus all musicians play with the moovie of the race while they are playing , it give a strong taste / tension to the avant gard jazz session ,plus FRANCOIS TUSQUES is playing killer prepared piano as usual , with EDDY GAUMONT on drums / BEB GUERIN on bass .. ..TRY LONG SOUNDCLIP ..
