Superb autographed edition.
Starring Michael Crawford and Deborah Grant ('Bergerac').
The autograph, in black ink on the cover, simply reads: 'best wishes, Michael Crawford'. It is slightly smudged at right side.
First performance at the London Palladium on June 11, 1981. By arrangement with the American producers Judy Gordon, Cy Coleman, Maurice & Lois F. Rosenfeld in association with Irvin Feld and Kenneth Feld.
Condition VINYL: EX. Very clean on visual inspection. No obvious marks, scuffs or hairlines on either side. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is fantastic throughout. Run-ins are clear and all cues sound superb. Just some light static during quieter cues and fade-ins/fadeouts. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. A very enjoyable listen overall. Could be hard to find a better example. OUTER SLEEVE/COVER: EX. Colours are clear and unfaded on superb thick card gloss gatefold front and back. Top and bottom edges have some very light scuffing, as do the corners – but spine in great shape with just the odd crease in from edges. Aperture has a few nicks and signs of mild use. Michael Crawford signature written in black, with some smudging to the last stroke of the autograph. Inner matt gatefold features a montage of individual cast members and liner notes. Mild mottling to inner spine, but overall a fantastic example. INNER SLEEVE: EX. Original white sleeve with curved aperture corners and centre hole one side. Minor crinkling, but no major creases/folds and no stains, splits or rips. Intact overall.
