Description
This is a fine copy of a 1989 archival LP of demos and unreleased material by Milwaukee psych group the Baroques. The group released one rare album on the Chess label in 1967. This LP includes demo versions of four tracks on the album, including its two standout psych tracks, "Iowa, a Girl's Name" and "Oscar Mayer Weiner Wagon." Most of the LP is devoted to post-album tracks from 1968, two of which are in the same style ("Sunflowers," "At the Garden Gate"), and the rest of which are looser jazzy compositions (side 2). The jacket is close to pristine with a little creasing in the corners (M-). The disc is clean with a little light scuffing, and plays with occasional, mostly light crackling (EX+).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
