My eBay name is 'punky_music' and I'm a full-time record dealer since nearly 30 years
Very clean original first pressing of brilliant powerpop punk 7” from England. Old eBay prices: £30 + $31 + $30 + $27. Released on private mini label ‘Cells’ records in 1979 (catalogue number CELL-OUT 1). Here you can get the fantastic debut 7” by the BARRACUDAS. The excellent A-sider ‘I Want My Woody Back’ was born with endless hand-claps, charming vocals and many yeah-yeah-yeah-yeah choruses. This track also appears on the POWERPEARLS #3 sampler. The brilliant ‘Subway Surfing’ on the flip doesn’t appear on any of their LPs. Though, based in London the band were lead by Canadian vocalist Jeremy Gluck. The group also included drummer Nick Turner, who left in 1981, shortly after the release of their debut LP, ‘Drop Out With The Barracudas’, to join Stiv Bators (DEAD BOYS), Brian James (DAMNED) and Dave 'Kermit' Treganna (SHAM 69) in LORDS OF THE NEW CHURCH. Classic !!

Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
Payment / Bezahlung: via PayPal. All orders outside Germany which exceed a value of €12 or £11 or $13 will only be sent by registered mail. This requires the buyer to pay an additional of €2,50 or £2.50 or $3.00. All winners from Italy must pay for registered mail. Deutsche bitte per Banküberweisung oder PayPal.
