A: BARRINGTON SPENCE STEP IN JAH JAH (True sounds of roots & culture outta Bullwackie's stable ... this is the ever-brilliant Barrington Spence ina Prince Douglas Levy-styleee ... a true classic which saw re-release for good reason a couple of years ago on a UK Hamma-10" ... this comes as very rare US press on the Bullwackie-related Black Star-label ... original 1981 ... Bullwackie collectors ... don't miss out ... and watch out for my other reggae-items!!!) B: BLACK STARS DUB IN JAH (Credits to Prince D ... the man Douglas Levy ... brilliant dub-wize ina early 80s Wackie-styleee!) ORIGINAL PRESS (NOT A RE-PRESS) FEATURE: COLOURS OF JAH RAINBOW WAX'N'SOUND: ex / ex-, shows lightest marks only, very light surface scratches, very very shiny, plays well crucial w/ tuffer-than-tuff punch and brilliant sound, expect lightest occasional crackle! LABEL: both sides show lightest general wear, NO writings/markings, tiniest damage to A-side, otherwise perfectly perfect - watch the scan, please!" REGGAE - SKA - ROCK STEADY - ROCKSTEADY " Something 'bout Sound + Vision: We shouldn't rely on visual appearance alone (as pretty looks isn’t all as they say) - therefore these records are graded after their visual appearance and their sound quality! I personally prefer a record with crackling but strong sound + punch to one playing clean but with surface noise from the pressing (as we find with re-pressed discs - too - often). Grading records is a very subjective thing but I try hard to be objective as a human being can be (yes indeed, this seller is a human being). THIS IS MY VINYL GRADING SCALE: EX (= really great - EX means "excellent", really...) VG (= nice, if you don't have an excellent one - by the way: VG means "very good"...) G (= playable, but you might find a better one - G means "good", but this term may be a bit euphemistic to reggae-vinyl-novices. Be realistic: a record graded G doesn't jump nor stick, but that's the best I can say about it...) P (= just a collection-filler for the hard-edged + hardest-boiled collectors + selectors + all the rudegals out there - P stands for "poor", yunno...)
