For sale I have what I believe is a rare promo first pressing of "Blowing My Mind" by Barry Goldberg Blues Band 1966 on Epic records BN 26199 Matrix XSB113388-1D and XSB113389 1A This Lp came from an era when white boys were going to Chicago to learn and play old chicago blues,I love that era what a time it must of been, besides Barry Goldberg this album features early Charlie Musselwhite on harp Harvey Mandel on guitar with Daune Allman playing slide on one song "Twice a man" this was a time when Paul Butterfield Blues Band was kicking off there career,some great white boy blues from the mid 60s Goldberg and Mandel went on to play in Charle Musselwhites band in 67 I think they played on his first 2 albums for sure on his first (Stand Back) Condition on this is a strong VG+ play checked both sides with headphones on had some light crackles in a few spots did not over power the music (what a joy to listen too) has a generic inner sleeve with a plastic liner built in, Cover to me is also a strong VG+ does show light shelf wear edge and spine are solid not bad for being what 56 years old, now what makes this a promo copy is the sticker on the label "FOR DEMONSTRATION USE ONLY NOT FOR SALE" also they wrote the radio stations call letters all over the label and the cover adding what I think is authenticity to this being a promo Lp (I do have another cover with out any writing VG if you prefer let me know and I will switch them) but I really think that this cpver is too cool.
