My own original copy of the 7” 33rpm EP THRILL OF THE GAME by BASKING SHARKS (RELEASED in 1983 by SMALL RUN RECORDS; SRR0013).

The cover was sellotaped along the right-hand edge when new, as it had soon become unstuck. Scans 1 & 2 hopefully show this.

  

This EP would have played just a handful of times back in the day (as I recorded everything from vinyl to tape, then ‘mothballed’ the vinyl). Having now decided to sell all my vinyl, I have just played all 4 tracks from this record on a brand new Audio-Technica deck – and there are no jumps or other noticeable ‘abnormalities’ (just the usual pops & cracks).
