Polish singer-songwriter Martyna Basta, now based in London, returns to her very own Warm Winters with her latest album Slowly Forgetting Barely Remembering. Described as a collection of intimate songs about love, loss and memory, it comes sonically as an admixture of performative murmurations, feedback-loope ephemera, and quizzical bell tolls and drones. This all culminates in an echoic and half-remembered folk sound, where additional vocal mods and apparitions from the likes of Claire Rousay also appear, making for a certain addition to the nascent canon of "cybernetic folk".
