Description
'Bat Out Of Hell II - Back Into Hell' - Meat Loaf - 12" inch vinyl LP (33 rpm) – Virgin - V2710 - 1993 #st#
Description
- 12 inch, stereo, LP. 33 1/3 rpm
- This was originally issued in 1993 on the Virgin label.
- This was the 6th studio album from Meat Loaf. It was released 16 years after the original multi-million selling album. Many of the original production team and musicians were used in the follow-up
- All tracks were written, arranged and produced by Jim Steinman with Meat Loaf and the musicians credited as co-arrangers with Steve Rinkoff as associate producer and engineer
- Musicians, apart from Meat Loaf on vocals, include Lorraine Crosby on female lead vocals (Mrs Loud); Todd Rundgren, Kasim Sulton, the Nelson brothers and Ellen Foley on backing vocals; Bill Payne on piano; Roy Bittan on piano and keyboards; Tim Pierce on guitar - and many more
- Track listing:
- Side 1:- I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That), Life Is a Lemon and I Want My Money Back, Rock and Roll Dreams Come Through, It Just Won't Quit, Out of the Frying Pan (And into the Fire)
- Side 2:- Objects in the Rear View Mirror May Appear Closer than They Are, Wasted Youth (Monologue by Steinman), Everything Louder than Everything Else, Good Girls Go to Heaven (Bad Girls Go Everywhere), Back into Hell (Instrumental), Lost Boys and Golden Girls
- The sleeve features full-colour artwork by sci-fi/fantasy artist Michael Whelan following the style of Richard Corben's cover for 'Bat Out of Hell'. Full track listing and production credits on the back.
- Plain, black, paper inner sleeve
- Catalogue number V 2710
- Matrix marks:- Side 1: V 2710 A-1-1-1 (stamped)
- Side 2: V 2710 B-1-1-1 (stamped)
Condition
- The record appears to be in good condition. There are no noticeable marks or scratches and no signs of warping.
- However on playback the record has noticeable background noise and occasionally sticks. This could be down to the quality of our equipment as the grooves are very narrow (to accomodate 40 mins on one side and 34 on the other!)
- Some slight edge wear and ring wear (see photos).
- The inner sleeve is unmarked with just a few slight creases and faint ring wear..
- Based on the guidelines of the Record Collectors Guild, I would say this record is 'Good +' (www.recordcollectorsguild.org)
