**FRONT COVER SIGNED BY QUORTHON**
This is a very rare opportunity to own a Bathory album signed by Quorthon. This is from my own private collection and I feel the time is right to let another Bathory fan and collector own this piece of history. You can clearly see Quorthon has written "HAIL ALEX" on the front cover and then signed along with the 666 and pentagram symbols, all of which is in amazing clarity. I've taken photo's with the two issues of the Bathory fanzine I published a few years back, in case anyone felt the need to question my authenticity. I will happily include these in the sale, I would also include the Bathory Record Collector Guide that I produced but unfortunately that sold out long ago and I have no spare copies.
Originally released in 1995 Octagon was the only Bathory album to not be available on vinyl at the time of its release. In 2003 it finally appeared on vinyl as part of the 20th anniversary re-pressings, which makes this a much sought after first pressing. The cover has a couple of dings, as you can see in the photos, but this auction really is all about the signature, which is super clear, making this a superb piece of memorabilia.
