**** BATHORY (1984) Black Mark Records MADE IN SWEDEN BMLP 666 **** **** **** LP : VG/VG+ **** COVER VG/VG+ **** **** **** Clean glossy vinyl LP shows definite surface scuffs and a few very light scratches. Visually this LP is a VG/VG+ at best. However, in the 15 years I have owned this, I have played it a few times from start to finish - this record play grades at VG+/EX - sounds A LOT better than it looks. There are definite visual scuffs and light marks, but this LP is not trashed nor hammered by any stretch - plays very nice - absolutely NO SKIPS ! The thrashing is so loud, any surface noise or background noise is completely destroyed during playback ! This is NOT a Near Mint record - if you've played 684,742 Metal records like me, then it sounds just fine ! The labels are very clean and state : 'MADE IN SWEDEN'. In the trail-off is etched : 'BMLP 6661A' & '6661B', and '840905 GP'. Also etched in tiny print are the images of a crucifix, a pentagram, and 666 - of course !!! The COVER shows definite wear to the seams, corners, and a few light creases. Front and back surfaces show only light wear - no splits - no cutouts - far from perfect - it is what it is ! The INSERT is in very nice shape - just a bit of fading - no creases - no rips. The insert has the FULL LYRICS on one side - BATHORY T-SHIRT OFFER on the other side. Everything here is completely original 1984 - S/T BATHORY LP - Made in Sweden - YELLOW GOAT COVER is 1 of only 1000 ever released worldwide !
